The Holland Belt Loader is a “time proven”, belt loader style, mass excavator used extensively in the heavy construction and mining industries. The Belt Loader is comes in two basic styles. The 600 Series loaders vertically shear material off of a bench cut up to 27’ in height. The 700 Series model cuts material horizontally, similar to a scraper. Both styles are propelled by two dozers, one pulling and one pushing. Only one operator is required to run the system. These loaders are well suited to perform the mass excavations required for major infrastructure projects such as highways, airports, dams, irrigation and flood control as well as surface mine stripping, mine reclamation and large environmental remediation projects. In average conditions, Holland belt loaders can be expected to move 20,000 CY per shift and in ideal conditions, single shift productivities have exceeded 40,000 CY. No other excavating system offers this production capacity at such low ownership and operating costs. |
The Model 710 Belt Loader makes a horizontal cut 12’ wide and up to 3’ deep. The loader is meant to be paired with two (2) Caterpillar D10 or Komatsu 475 size dozers. Smaller dozers can be considered in some applications. Production rates are similar to the 600 Loader. Holland Loader plans to have a smaller, proto type version of our horizontal loader by Spring, 2008. We would invite you to sign up for our newsletter to keep informed of our progress.
